London-based industrial AI platform Arrakis has emerged from stealth after securing a $30m (£22.5m) Series A funding round.
Founded in 2026 by former Accel investor Rafael Quintanilla alongside co-founders Haroun Beltaifa, Romain Fouilland, and Mikhail Galkov, an alumni of Palantir, Delivery Hero, Revolut, Datadog, and ASML, Arrakis develops autonomous AI agents for core workflows across the aerospace, energy, logistics, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors.
Arrakis’ model-agnostic platform deploys custom AI agents directly into enterprise systems to automate complex, non-desk operational processes. The company ties a significant proportion of its commercial fees directly to customer performance outcomes.
Arrakis has already secured enterprise clients, including NYSE-listed industrial and logistics firms, and plans to use the fresh capital to triple its headcount and open new offices in New York and the Middle East.
“The West is under growing pressure to reindustrialise, but that renaissance won’t be powered by net new companies alone,” said Quintanilla.
“It requires equipping our industrial champions with the tools to harness their data, navigate the AI transition and compete on a global stage.
“That’s exactly why we founded Arrakis. Most AI investment to date has targeted the 30% of workers behind a desk. The real ROI lies in the 70% running industrial operations. We’re building from Europe for the world, with the ambition to build the Operating System our industrial champions need to win.”
The Series A round was led by Blossom Capital and saw participation from existing investor Accel, which previously led the startup’s $7.5m (£5.6m) seed round, alongside GFC, MainObject, Rerail, and prominent angel investors.
“Rafael and the Arrakis team have an exceptional combination of technical depth, operational expertise and commercial ambition,” said Ophelia Brown, managing partner at Blossom Capital.
“While many companies are focused on AI applications at the edge of the enterprise, Arrakis is tackling some of the most complex operational challenges facing large industrial organisations. Their early traction demonstrates both the scale of the opportunity and the demand for solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.”
