The UK, when it comes to AI, has “been on a great path for many years now”.

This was the sentiment shared by Ashley Kramer, a San Francisco-based employee of OpenAI, currently serving as the vice president for enterprise.

Kramer, who was in London this month to attend a conference in the city held by the ChatGPT developer, told UKTN how in just a year of working for OpenAI, she had made at least eight separate trips the UK.

“This is such a huge market for us, and we have just some absolutely forward thinking, fantastic customers out here,” Kramer said. “[The UK has] been on a great path for many years now.”

The Californian AI giant has made no secret its commitment to establishing and maintaining a strong UK presence….
