Manchester United bank eight-figure fee from Amazon All Or Nothing deal

Manchester United will receive an eight-figure fee after agreeing to feature in the next edition of Amazon Prime Video’s All Or Nothing documentary series.

The show will follow the club’s fortunes over the next year, with shooting set to begin in pre-season and the series due to air in summer 2027.

United follow Premier League rivals Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in accepting the All Or Nothing cameras. 

Those clubs each received £10m for taking part in the project. United’s fee is reported to be in excess of that and a record for any comparable documentary.

“Manchester United is more than a football club: it is a global phenomenon,” said Tara Erer, Prime Video’s head of UK film and unscripted television and northern European originals.

United: Now is right time for Prime Video doc

It comes as United approach the 2026-27 season with renewed hope, following a strong end to the season under new manager Michael Carrick and Champions League qualification.

The club have previously turned down offers from the makers of All Or Nothing but chief communications officer Toby Craig said: “Now is the right time to open our doors.”

“This documentary will showcase Manchester United’s unique people, ambition and culture; from the iconic atmosphere at Old Trafford to the work that goes on behind the scenes every day at Carrington,” he added.

“We will share some of the stories of this historic club both with our fans and new audiences around the world as we compete at the highest level, both domestically and in the Champions League.”
