Tickets for England’s Fifa World Cup quarter-final are on sale for $8m as fans look to snap up a spot for the last eight tie in Miami.
England posted one of their greatest ever World Cup victories on Monday, beating Mexico 3-2 at the Azteca Stadium in the co-host’s capital.
And they’ve been rewarded with a match against Erling Haaland’s Norway at the Miami Dolphin’s Hard Rock Stadium in the Magic City.
But England fans will need to fork out thousands to be there, with tickets starting at $2,760 and rising as high as $8m on the official Fifa World Cup resale website.
Interestingly the three-day ticket price average has dropped 28 per cent, according to SeatPick data, likely driven by Brazil’s failure to reach the last eight of this World Cup.

A victory over Norway at 10pm on Saturday would see England head to Atlanta for their semi-final, with tickets so far starting at $3,600 and soaring to $800,000.
And for the final – held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey – tickets are currently $11,000 at their cheapest, stretching to over $11m in some places.
World Cup tickets soar
The World Cup has been a controversial one for ticket prices, with many fans priced out of watching their team over the tournament – which is being co-hosted in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
It forced football governing body Fifa to guarantee a number of tickets at a rock bottom price for loyal fans of each team.
England have reached the last eight at every World Cup since 2018, having not got to the quarter-finals in the two tournaments prior to the quadrennial event in Russia eight years ago.
Last time out in Qatar England lost 2-1 to eventual finalists France, while in 2018 England lost to Croatia in the semi-finals after extra time.
